Freshysites Website rules checklist

  1. Set up Favicon using Favicon by RealFaviconGenerator and please set App Name while creating favicon.
  2. Add Site Title / Tagline from Settings > General
  3. Check Contact From notification settings if its set up perfectly or not! Also while creating new form don’t forget to update the notification From Name with updated field.
  4. Check Maligun Settings if its assigned perfectly. If not then fix that!
  5. All CSS must be within the Divi Child theme’s style.css at the end of the file (Appearance > Theme Editor > style.css)
  6. All JS must be within the Divi Child theme’s script.js (Appearance > Theme Editor > script.js)
  7. If you need to add custom PHP functions for some reason, please go to “Snippets” and create a new one. This uses the Snippets plugin which is already installed. Do not modify the Divi Child theme’s functions.php file.
  8. When writing CSS rules in the stylesheet.css that contain URLs (e.g., for background-image), please use a relative URL instead of a full/absolute URL. For example, please do: '/wp-content/uploads/example.jpg' instead of 'https://example.freshy.site/wp-content/uploads/example.jpg'
  9. After finishing Website please beautify the css you have written and always write your css using proper comment so that anyone can understand your styles
  10. Going forward, we will likely be providing you the Adobe Fonts code that you can add to the project. In this case, here is that code:<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”https://use.typekit.net/jsa0bdv.css“>Going forward, when using Adobe Fonts with the code we provide, you will need to activate the Header Footer plugin, and add to the <HEAD> of that plugin. and then add the font-family css to style.css!
  11. Make use of the real Divi footer when possible (via Theme Customizer and using Widgets), rather than creating the footer within the Divi Builder. However, if the mockup’s footer isn’t really easy to do via the regular Divi footer, then please utilize the Divi Builder by creating a global Library section for your custom footer.
  12. Do not modify core Divi files such as header.php or footer.php. Divi has some hooks if needed, and we also have licenses for the Page Builder Everywhere plugin when warranted.
  13. If a slideshow is needed, please use the Divi Slider Modules when possible. Otherwise, please use Smart Slider 3 Pro. Ask us for the plugin file. We do not recommend Slider Revolution.
  14. Please label Divi Modules with useful text, instead of keeping them as “Text” or “Blurb” or “Image”.
  15. Do NOT style individual modules (such as Buttons, Body Text, etc.) when you can instead adjust them site-wide via Divi > Theme Customizer. Please first set the overall styling via that area. Then only override individual modules if absolutely necessary. You should NOT be manually setting the font per module or per page.
  16. Always add module naming to design a page at each module. If it’s title then write module naming like (“This is title … (title)”). if its long description then just write first 2-3 words and then add … at the end of that. and if its button then write the button name and in bracket write that its button. Same for image as well!
  17. At the end of the project please check all pages and add proper linking at each buttons, navigation etc. if we don’t have any external provided then leave it blank
  18. Images should be proper Named & optimized please!
